The following instructions are for mapping a shared folder on a Windows system. You first need to request access by submitting a support request under Technologies > Access To Shared Drive:

IMPORTANT: If you are directly connected to the VCU network (LAN) you may skip step #1

  1. Log on to RamsVPN (you must have already enrolled in two-factor authentication)
  2. Click Windows START icon and click Computer
  3. Click Map network drive from the top menu
  4. Select a Drive letter or choose the default
  5. In the Folder field enter a share folder path from the following:
    1. Spit for Science: \\\VIPBG\Spit4Science
    2. SEAP: \\\VIPBG\Share\AnandaShare

    4. Dr. Hettema ISILON: \\\VIPBG\Share\Hettema-JAS
    5. Dr. Roberson-Nay ISILON: \\\VIPBG\Share\Roberson-Nay-AYATS
  6. If your system is joined to the RAMS domain (i.e. you log in to your system using your VCU eID/password):
    1. Check the Reconnect at logon box
    2. Click Finish
  7. If your system is not joined to the domain or you are on a wireless connection:
